Slip repair after heavy rain
“It was March 2020, during Covid, and Wellington had endured days of heavy rain. As a result, an enormous section of the bank beside our house broke away and slid slowly into the gully below, complete with mature kanuka and cabbage trees. It was a huge island of mud and broken trees.
At that stage, we had no idea what we were dealing with or where to start. We had a couple of other companies take a look and give us an opinion on the extent of the slip and what would be involved in stabilising the bank.
This was a huge undertaking straight off the bat. We had a great feel about Terrain Tech from the start. The advice and plan of attack from Carl and Jacob gave us peace of mind. At the end of the day, they were saving our house.
We cannot emphasise enough how professional and thorough Carl's team were while doing this work. Carl kept in regular communication with us. The team always arrived on time, worked hard and left the site clean at the end of the day. We were thrilled with the result and would definitely hire them again should we need to in the future.
