Carl is the founder and owner of Terrain Tech. With over 20 years of experience in Wellington's civil construction industry, he has built the company into a trusted specialist in slope stabilisation and ground engineering across the region.
Carl leads Terrain Tech's research and development, including the in-house design and engineering of specialist machinery built specifically for Wellington's tight and difficult-access sites. That hands-on drive to find better solutions – combining deep technical knowledge with a practical, problem-solving approach – is at the core of what Terrain Tech delivers.
Jacob Hanna
Contracts Manager/Foreman, Diploma in Civil Engineering
Jacob has been an integral part of Terrain Tech for nearly 10 years, bringing extensive hands-on experience in complex ground engineering and slope stabilisation across Wellington.
Coming from a farming background, Jacob applies a genuine number 8 wire mentality to every site – finding practical solutions to problems on difficult-access and complex terrain. He oversees projects from tender through to completion, with a reputation for sound engineering knowledge, clear communication, and resourceful thinking.
